After the HPF seminar held in December, 2002, its advanced course was held in the national institute for fusion science on June 11, 2003. About 40 persons participated in this seminar and H. Sakagami, Y. Okabe, K. Suehiro, Y. Hayashi and H. Murai of HPFPC acted as speakers.
In this seminar of advanced course the talks were given on the way to parallelize application codes with HPF or to exploit each of extended features. In the Q&A session there was a lively discussion on the questions raised in parallelizing their codes with HPF and the demands for more new features. It was felt that HPF was now put to practical use and its users were increasing steadily.
