Among the eight programs included in NPB, the five are parallelized with the HPF/JA features from the NPB2.3-serial version, excluding FT whose NPB3.0alpha code is equal to the MPI version (NPB2.4), IS for which no Fortran code is provided, and EP that is obvious to parallelize efficiently and easily with HPF.
The evaluation on the Earth Simulator shows that all of these programs achieve the performance almost comparable to the MPI version.
